atticlibrarianJust finished watching Merlin. I have some thoughts. Not DEEP thoughts, but thoughts. Mostly of the wait, what? variety.
Huh. That turned deeper than I thought it would. Anyway I know I sound negative and like I'm tearing the show a new one, but that's kind of just how I roll. I ignore all the things that work and that I love and focus on how it could be better. I do love you show. I DO. Mostly for the eyefucking. And the magic. And Bradley James' facial expressions. Did I mention the eyefucking?
Okay now I have to go check my flist because I decided to wait until I had watched the ep.
- Why don't we know who exactly Arthur is losing all these men to? It bothers me and seems like a bit of an oversight. Unless it's just MY oversight.
- I don't really have words for how much I love Arthur and Merlin (and Bradley and Colin in turn) it just turns into a lot of capslock and squee and that happy shiny feeling in the pit of my stomach.
- Arthur I KNOW you're not that stupid. Seriously I know the show is going to have some kind insane reveal where Arthur really has no idea about the magic thing. BUT COME ON. He knows. He HAS to. That is my personal canon and I will stick with it until the end of time.
- I will take that bucket scene to mean that Arthur likes to come on Merlin's face. Or you know, wants to.
- Bradley James sad is something I never want to see. EVER
- I love ASH. Really I do. But I really could never take him as Uther seriously and I still can't. Or maybe I should stop taking it seriously and just accept that it's cracky.
- Cenrad. He's like Constantine Maroulis except more British and dirty and all kinds of sex.
- Oh Morgana. I've been reading all these bigbang fics, which I will probably make a post about eventually, but it made me realize that Morgana is so much better in fic form than in real life. I've kind of overlooked her until now and I hope she grows on me but I just don't know at this point.
- I saw that Dragon coming a million miles away.
- Merlin, you are powerful. FUCKING USE IT.
- Now, please sir. Can I have some more?
