I woke up and then 5 minutes late my mother was calling me to come help her shovel snow. We didn't get very much. Weather report said we were supposed to get between 6-12 inches, but I think we got about 3 if that.
My grandmother's been talking about getting a laptop for about 6 months now. I've convinced her to get an iPad instead. She doesn't have the money to get a MacBook and I won't be able to teach her how to use a PC. She doesn't really need anything complicated, just e-mail and an internet browser. This way I can test it out and see if I want to get one now or wait until the 2nd generation.
Still on my mom's laptop. VLC for windows really fucking sucks. Being able to scroll through a video is pretty pointless when you can't actually see what you're scrolling past. Plus the screen on here is awful. HD video looks terrible.
Besides the obvious, the best reason about having a Mac is that I don't sit here and play Solitaire all day long like I've been doing the last couple days.
Oh and it's really ridiculous how often I rewatch the entirety of the Golden Girls. I really need a Rose to my Dorothy. If only to hit someone on the head with a newspaper to get out some of that excess anger.
