Merlin, Merlin, Merlin

I FINALLY caught up on Merlin today. I've been away and busy every weekend since it started and my computer's harddrive isn't cooperating with my viewing habits. Anyway, I don't really want to get into anything detailed but here are the highlights.

• I am so not into this Arthur/Gwen thing. It's not because it's het (okay it is a little), but it just doesn't make any FUCKING sense. They had barely any interaction last series, except for what we've established was forced in the finale, and now they're making out. WHAT!?
• On the other hand I really REALLY love Gwen and Lancelot. I could watch them together all day. They have chemistry and it JUST MAKES SENSE.
• I really liked the last 10 minutes of Episode 4. All the looks and little conversations. I really wanted Arthur to see Gwen and Lancelot and how strongly they feel for each other.
• And now Arthur can go have comfort!sex with Merlin. YEZ
• Morgana's episode was EPIC. I'm so happy she knows the truth about herself now. And I love her relationship with Merlin. It's easy to see how they could go from being great friends and allies to complete and utter enemies. Honestly I even see more chemistry between them than I do between Gwen and Arthur. 
• I wish they'd given William more lines in Episode 2. He seemed to have great comedic presence and I thought it was wasted.

 

That's it. Glee and Top Chef tonight. I've been harsh on it so far, mostly because it hasn't lived up to the EPICNESS of the pilot. Last week seemed to be a VAST improvement so hopefully this week will continue that.

I totally agree that A/G is too rushed and seems a bit forced, even if I think they're cute. AND YES GWEN/LANCELOT IS LOVE haha ♥

IKR? I was hoping to see more of him!
